Hi! Welcome to Wordy Chick!

I have been blogging for a little while now, sometimes I can’t believe I can “talk” so much, but here I still am, with more say. I enjoy the Pacific Northwest as my home, although my soul belongs in the mountains of Montana or Colorado.  I am newly engaged and living my best life with my partner, our 4 kids that are starting to leave home and the family dog.

My passion is helping women reach their potential. To see women be successful and fulfilled in themselves. As wives, mothers, sisters, daughters, etc, we wear many hats each day and are often overwhelmed and burnt out. I spent many years feeling overwhelmed and stressed. But I have ALWAYS had an amazing source of female friends that lift me up, encourage me, listen, cry and laugh with me. They have provided strength when I was weak. They have called me out when I have been wallowing in self-pity, they hold my hand on new ventures. It’s because of these women, that I hope to offer the same encouragement, strength, ideas, and be a resource to you.

This blog is my attempt to share what “wisdom” I have learned along the way in this crazy, exciting and sometimes very challenging and heartbreaking life. To hopefully share new ideas, adventures and bring some light and happiness to your world.

Thank you for joining me and reading my thoughts. I appreciate the time you have taken to read my posts. I hope you enjoy what you find.
