Friday’s Word (17)

Another Friday is upon us. Another week has gone by. Time seems to move so quickly, each week moving closer to big changes in my world. Sometimes I long to stop time and hold onto moments. I am thankful for all the memories that I have made with those I love and continue to make.

Today I thought I would share a word from another language. I am not sure we have an equivalent word in the English language, but I thought I would share this as I just thought it was a pretty image. Sometimes we need to stop and enjoy the beauty that is around us.

Friday’s Word (16)

It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve posted a new word. With all the recent sadness, I wanted a happy word.

The definition of the word can be tough to actually live out, especially when faced with seemingly impossible moments of loss, grief, sadness, failure, etc. But my hope is to offer encouragement today. May we find joy in being alive.

Friday’s Word (12)

Another Friday arrives!  This week has been a bit rough as we have battled the flu; kids and mom.  But also exciting as I am starting a new business venture and finally figured out how to create a website!  Whew!  Not quite as easy as I expected.

Having been home with the flu, we watched a few movies, The Young Victoria and Marie Antoinette and watching these this word was in my mind.  One seemed to be this and one was not.  But for some reason, I like the sound of the word; although not the meaning. I would not want to be described as this.  Although being carefree is ok for a moment, perhaps.

Friday’s Word (11)

Another beautiful day is upon us here in the Pacific Northwest. I’m getting ready for a special party and thinking on what word to choose today.

In keeping with the theme of the day, its a great day, this seemed like the word to choose. It’s new to me which is even better, I love learning new words.

I hope you all are having a wonderful day.
